Student Forms and Processes

Students must complete the following process in order to graduate in their program of study:

 

1.   COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FOR GRADUATION OR CONTACT YOUR ADVISOR

Complete the Application for Graduation. This can be found under . Once received, the application will be forwarded to the appropriate advisor.

2.   SURVEY FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS

Next, we ask that you complete the Survey for Graduating Students. You can print the form by clicking  or complete the . Your input is valuable as this survey will help us to improve our academic programs and student service programs.

 

3.   SUBMIT THE GRADUATION PAPERWORK

Submit the  to your advisor - one for each degree you will receive. The advisor will complete an Official Degree Audit(s) and submit to the Registrar's Office by the date indicated on the Academic Calendar.

 

4.   COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Plan to attend the Commencement Ceremony. You are eligible to attend if you graduate during the current school year. Caps, gowns, tassels, and invitations will be provided.

 

5.   DIPLOMAS

Diplomas are mailed to the address indicated either in the Student System or on the Declaration of Candidacy four to six weeks after the end of the semester.

In accordance with BMCC鈥檚 commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus environment, 澳门极速彩supports changes to legal name, preferred first name, and legal sex designation. These efforts support students of all genders (including transgender, gender non-binary, and genderqueer students) and students who have made legal name changes.

Current students can submit changes of their name of record, preferred name, and/or legal sex designation through the Name and/or Legal Sex Designation Change Request Form. Changes to legal name and sex require accompanying evidence of the legal basis for the change, as explained in the form.
